Inspired by The Matrix, but it's pretty hard to replicate the original shot without a lot of Photoshop work. Also had to substitute Smarties. Looking at the pic now, I never even noticed the other reflections in the polished wood surface of the table when I took the shot!

I get it! The Matrix. lol. I'm not sure what happened to the chair in the background. Parts of it look "broken" like someone moved it during the photo, but then parts of it look just fine. Was there an upload problem? Or maybe it's just the file freaking out on my computer. I think I would have prefered the chair not in the photo at all actually, but you have a great andgle, and the focus and clarity are great. Nice shot. ~Hbunch7187~
Meets the Challenge: Yes Artistic Merit (Would I print/frame/hang it?): 3 Creativity (Did a lot of thought go into this photo?): 5 Technical (Focus/DOF/Lighting/Etc): 4 Composition (Subject well-positioned and framed): 5 WOW Factor (Is the photo interesting?): 5
clear but a bit bland lacking something substantial to make a great shot. great idea and use of reflective surface but arent those called mirrored sunglasses?! LOL 5 Mags Coyote
This would have been superb apart from one thing, one thing that kills a really great idea and a potentially inspired image… The chair… Get rid of the chair and shoot it again and you'll see what I mean. Sorry to sound so snooty, but the chair just pulls the eye away from the central subject; it is also clashing colourwise with the rest of shot. The mood and overall balance are thrown into conflict; I'd also avoid having the tabletop in shot as well. The white area works so well with the pills and glasses; even covering the offending area with my hand adds loads to the shot. Try covering the table entirely with white cloth, re-shoot the shot so that it fills the entire background – including in the reflection and see what you think… Sorry to be so negative and remember, this is just my opinion… Keep shooting, (5)
