I know this is a very "busy" shot, but that's the way it is on laundry day! Setting up the scene was not as easy as I thought it would be; I had to deal with reflections & get the colors arranged so there were a variety of shades. Editing; trim, adjust tones, unsharp & sharp.

Well, the only way to go from here is up! I was attempting to illustrate the saying, "Wash on Monday, iron on Tuesday" & so on, ending on "Rest on Sunday." You know, the chaotic yet mundane chores of every day living. I should have put the camera away & washed those clothes!
Maybe some day it will be used in another Brown Ribbon do over. I got a lot of very constructive criticism & appreciate the kindness in the way they were made. BTW, this was the 1st time I used the Unsharp & Resharpen editing tools, just look at the stunning color in those blue jeans!
The concept of a line of laundry would have been better accepted by the voters if it had actually been hanging on a "line" outdoors, and photographed from near one end of the line. I guess that this shot didn't have enough solid lines, or one good big one to make it go over well with the voters. Anyway, thank you for saving me from getting the brown ribbon in this "Leading Lines" challenge. I hope that you will keep shooting, and that scores will improve soon for your images.
I had to look at this one for a while. ITs interesting, actually I think the colors distract from the lines and shapes - probably would do better in b&w
