My cat Kyro hanging out between the blinds and the window. Overexposed on purpose, but I'm sure many won't see that. I don't expect this to do well with the DPC voters, but I'm in love with it. I love the mostly white canvas, the "white space" as you will. I don't expect over a 5 for this.
Post Challenge - Aw, no brown? I still love this, I'm going to do some more editing to it and hang it on my wall! :)

I thought the blown out look may have been on purpose. As far as scores go, I am finding that whatever i think it should get, it will come in 1-1.5 lower.
Bravo for entering a shot you liked in spite of knowing it wouldn't score well.
Normally this type of photo would not be my cup of tea... it is quite blown out and I normally don't understand why someone would do that intentionally. But this time, it adds a depth of the sneaky slyness of the Siamese... it works for me. I would have liked the ears to be a little more in focus, but overall, this is a captivating photo! Good job!!!
Siamese wise man see brown ribbon in future. Hmmm, this could be a Whiterook entry. If this is not an entry from him, please consider that a compliment.
The colors seem blown out to me. As this is an advanced editing, you could have taken this in b&w and then added the intense blue of the eyes. Or even shot it in color and then tweaked the shading.
I like the high key and the "fill in the details on your own" aspect of the brightly lit side. Having tried this in a previous challenge, I hope you're scoring better with it!
I think a high key could work with this subject. It would be better with a whiter background and then less whites over all. Those blue eyes would then really stand out. Needs a bit more DOF with a smaller aperture to get the ears in focus with the nose. Good try.
