 This is a wonderful building in downtown Austin. Actually it is three buildings of different heights. Here we are looking at them straight on with the the shortest one in the front.

The contrast is awesome. It's almost like an optical illusion with the black and whites jumping out at you. Nice conversion.

Nice shot :) I wonder if some heavy(ish) dodging/burning of the sky would add impact? the sky looks a little bland right now though the buildings pop.

Deceptively simple. Excellent job of emphasizing the buildings by the strong contrasts within them, and setting them off with just enough of the pale cloud textured sky.

Oh Austin has SOOOOO many cool photo ops -- black and white OR color! I love getting up there to snap a few, and some of my own personal favorite photos are from Austin. This is a perfect photo for black and white photography. The contrasts are excellent!
