This is my first DPC submission. Took this shot at a ranch situatated in Oregon's high desert. There a good layer of snow about except here, but some is visible in the image. Geese and ducks come to this pond to watch the scenery (another set of shots to the right of this one).
Anyhow, this was shot with a circular polarizer to strengthen the blue sky. Post-processing included minor rotation and crop, brightness/contrast, color adjustment, and usm.

Pretty, but I feel like the different elements of this photo compete with each other. I don't know who the subject should be, the geese or the trees? And the trees in the background, being the most colourful part, tend to grab my attention too much. I'd like to see this in a monochrome.
