This is the underside of a Banana Tree "House Plant" leaf. The leaf is actually about 12 inches across and about 3-4 feet long of the trunk. It takes up like a big part of the living room. It is a really cool. I thought the lighting, color, and perspective of this photo was pretty neat. I used F/32 so I could get the most if not all of the veins reasonably sharp. I took another one at F/5 but it just didn't have the same coolness to it.
Hope it's not to abstract for the voters. I'm guessing it will score at least a 6.1. I'd be really pleased if this would finish in the top 10 though.
Post challenge: Thanks for all the wonderful comments on this. It is fairly abstract so I was pleased with how well it did. As for some the noise and some parts not seeming sharp notice the aperature and shutter lenght I used. I had to use F/32 due to the extreme depth I wanted to capture.
