The idea was to do a oldfashioned photograph of a working man. I used 2 lights, the main light to his left pointed at his face and the other by the camera as a fill light.

Not sure what to make of this one. I like the capture of the smoke, but the dress, age and expression of the model gives me a bit of an aggressive vibe. Interesting shot.
Beautiful contrast, the smoke creates great curvy lines and there are a lot of good vertical lines in his clothes and arm that lead my eye upward. great shot!
This is one great photo- I would liked to have seen it in free-study rather than ,"Peace", because I suppose that it would have scored higher there. Excellent study- great lighting. 9 (10 if I could make a connection to this challenge)
This really doesn't look to me like the kind of person who can sit back and relax with a good cigar (and maybe a glass of port). This looks like a kid who is trying a cigar for the first time--and experimenting with ways of blowing the smoke.
