August 7, 2008 my wonderful and dearest friend departed.
We had a wonderful bond and a deep understanding and love for each other. He taught me about the spirit and nature of horses - how special, loving, beautiful, strong and fragile they can be. For those of you who have never had the privilege of knowing a horse, they are so much more than just an animal grazing in a field.
To the best friend and confidant I ever had - may you run free and happy in the fields of heaven until we are together again.
all of the horse shots you have make me incredibly jelous, our horses never run twards the camera, and this horse is beautiful and im sorry that lucky had to leave but it seemed like he had a perfect life, i mean look at him, hes famous :]
you are an amazing photograhper
I like the in your face perspective, like he is going to run out of the frame and run me over. I also like that yoou erased the texture from the horse, leaves the muscles to shine.
