FWIW - I was one of your 8's. This shot just captured me with the mood. You can nit pick this all you want, but when a photographer captures the soul of a scene, it is a rare and special treasure.

Very nice. I wonder how it would look with a bit sharper contrast, but maybe subtle is what you're going for ... it doesn't matter, this is a very nice photograph!
