This was one of many shots I took of this particular carousel. The shot was a bit more difficult than I thought it would be due to the horses not traveling in a straight line and moving up and down. I chose this one because the focus was perfectly centered on the horses head and nothing else which draws the eye to the main subject of the photo. Overall I'm pretty pleased with this shot. I hope you enjoy it too!

The horse head is nice and sharp. The overall composition is not particularly interesting for me. Perhaps try zooming out to capture more of the horse (since it is the subject that is in focus) or try following the people instead of the horse. Godd technique with the pan.
