Panning......i have always loved the subject; So as soon as I saw the subject I decided to post one, But I was truly tired doing the linear panning....So I decided to do something like circular panning ....... I gave my old faithful gramophone player a chance, put the Donna Summer record on it and put the camera on the disc.....the rest of the task was quiet easy you know.No artificial light was used,a color correction is done at last in photoshop....now let me wait and see....." can it be magic " !!!

Great idea. For me, a little more dof might be nice, but that might be really difficult since you probably had to be quite close. Hope you didn't scratch the record.
if this record were spinning, then your camera would need to be moving into the frame to capture it this way. have a suspicion that you might have even put the camera on top of the vinyl. not a very exciting subject, though. I didn't know that Barry manilow wrote a song for Donna Summer.
