Good subject, books are part of my earliest memories, so I understand the story you're telling.
I like the warm colours, and the smiling kinds on the cover. A very good control of the depth of field. I wish you'd included some hands, so that to add some life to this image.
This is the most nostalgic of this entire challenge for me. It brings back such fond memories of the Dick and Jane books (the illustrations are very similar. 10 for the trip down memory lane.
