 I may be accused of shoehorning, but nothing could be further from the truth. I always remember that we always had at least one family pet. I went out looking for this shot. My son and Sophia have a special relation and Sophia is very protective of him as were the dogs from my past with me and my sister.

I wasn't allowed to have a dog when I was a kid ::sniff:: Had to settle for attaching myself to my grandparents' dog when we visited once a year.
