 She feeds the geese and the ducks. Another women feeds the pigeons. I've met and chatted with both of them - I quite enjoy visiting them and watching them care for their feathered friends.

I like this shot alot. I liek the b&w processing but what really makes it for me is that the lady is headless. Brings the focus to the ducks and whats going on rather than the person doing the feeding.

I really like this black and white because of the strong tones. The boots and her pants especially because they are so dark and the whites of the pigeons and water. I also like the mystery of the crop as Sandy mentioned. At first glance something didn't seem "right" about the conversion but I can't quite put my finger on it and now that I've looked at it longer I can't tell! I want to say it was the birds or the ducks in the water looked oversharpened and then noise reduced..or maybe the opposite...noise reduced and then over sharpened? Anyway, it is probably my imagination because the more I look at it the more I like it.

Oh how I love this photo. I love how you have shown the person without a face. Somehow, it makes it more personal. . .maybe more universally appealing for some reason. The photo touches me because I see the same look in the eyes of the geese and ducks that I see on "my" geese and ducks at the park every day. They are almost like beloved pets. The black and white processing also gives the photo that urban look that I love so much. I just keep looking at it, and I like it more, the more I look :)
