Was it was a sunny or overcast day when I took this image? The water is not blue so we know there was a cloud cover. If the sky was blue it would be reflected on the water. Overcast days work best if you want to make long water exposures. Notice the smooth surface of the water at the bottom of the scene and the cloudlike appearance of the water after tumbling over the rocks. The green foliage adds color to an otherwise limited color scene. I always look for a an interestng foreground to create interest, color, and a sense of scale and depth. Copyrighted, no manipulation
