I did use Photomatix. I also sharpened, dodged and burned and adjusted levels in Photoshop. This was taken in Central Park.

Probably a little to subtle in color and contrast to score really high, BUT, seems a little underrated here. I thought it was well done, particularly your framing of the subject.

Nice scene and subject here, though the tones seem a little on the low contrast side. Maybe a touch too centered.
