 Someone's pet dog, anxiously watching for her master to exit the grocery store.

OK, so it's not really a portrait, though if I really wanted to shoehorn it, I could have called it "Portrait of Loyalty" or something like that!

Yes, it was cold. The unhappy pup shifted from paw to paw. She kept starting to sit down, but the sidewalk was too cold for her, too.

Oh I am a sucker for dog shots. This one makes me laugh because it looks like she's got a jogging suit on or a superhero outfit. I'm amazed that someone in the city would feel comfortable enough to leave their dog sitting out alone in the open like this. Of course, I'm a paranoid nerd and could never do this. The one paw up makes me wonder if it was cold out? Mine does this. She will shift from one paw to another. Fun catch!
