I am not certain if this church is still active, and there's a very annoying fence around the entrance to keep out vandals; and no way at all to capture this great building without the silly fence, so I am unable to include the RED front door, which really gives this some flair!
That shadow of the light fixture above he door is great. You could make a shot of that by itself. Isn't it too bad that everything has to have a fence around it these days.
Nice architecture; I like the stone abutting the bricks, it's a nice juxtaposition of textures. Bell tower is cool, too, and looks great against the sky.
Grand architecture in this old place, and the solid blue sky makes it stand out nicely. Too bad about the fence. I use my monopod for that kind of problem , and put the camera above the fence, if the fence is back far enough, but in this case I don't think that it would work because of the fence being close to the building.
