 Police subdue a man on 9th Avenue. This was taken from the sidewalk across the wide avenue.

Oh, Larry! Great photojournalism! I love this. I'm with you too. . .contrived perfection in every image has started to bore me somewhat. . .I love fresh soul in pictures -- and that often means. . . not so prissily perfect! This is a great example. Raw, urban, AWESOME!!!

"Subdue" is a bit of a euphemism here in NYC. But it does look relatively gentle to me. Watch out someone doesn't sneak up behind you and clap a pair of cuffs on you.
