It's been pouring rain all day. So here's one from last night. This was about a half hour before sunset and the sun had peeked out long enough to highlight the rocky peak. It was so beautiful that I pulled the car over to take a couple. In the foreground, you can see some of our native scrub brushes. This coastal scrub is very aromatic so taking this picture was not only pleasant for the eyes, but for the nose as well.
This is a very lovely scene. I can see why you would want to pull over an shoot this moment. The light is awesome. I stop or U turn for things that catch my eye too. People sometimes stop or call me to see if my truck is broke down. Most of the people that know me have gotten used to seeing me on the side of the road just anywhere, with my camera out though.
