Just got back from Flordia this afternoon. I checked up on my result a few days ago while in Flordia. Glad to see that so many liked this image. I'm getting into the groove again.

My brother sent it to be validated because he away on vacation this week. Sumbitted the original ahead of time, in case he got top 5. He almost made it :)

I am not sure why it had to be validated. It looks very legitimate to me and a good job of finding an interresting shot.

I like the repetitious pattern in this. The overall concept definately fits Design and Engineering.

Would make a nice ad for Catipiller. The lighting of the machines fits nicely with the sky, etc.

you've caught this one perfectly with the composition and colour, blue of the sky is great - one of my favourites

Nice contrast and colors in this picture!

Interesting 'creation' of the mechanical arch. The yellow of the machines goes great with the blue sky. Nice detail and sharpness.

This could so easily have been quite a mundane shot but it's actually very striking with a persistent senses of drama as if this was a play we were watching. The lighting is very dramatic - how did you do it? Shot would have been improved perhaps by getting the digger arms more symmetrical but guess you didn't have much control over that (?!)

great repetition and nice saturation with the colors.

Like it! Very sharp. Like the way the colors work in this.

Really a nice composition.

I like the way this looks like a mirror image. It adds a lot of interest to an otherwise boring subject. Nice work.

I love the symmetry here. Good luck!
