Very happy for you that this photo did so well. It is a wonderful photo. The composition is so simple but speaks volumes as to how harsh and cold it is.

Love the high key processing. The horses on the diagonal make for a very dynamic image. Having them low in the image doesn't hurt either. Well done. My only 10 in this challenge.

I like the minimalism here, but the heavy frame cost ya a point. A hairline or thin frame would have underscored your composition even more.

I really like the negative space here, and i really feel for these poor ponies

I think this might not score as high as it deserves. This is not DPC winner, but very good composition nonetheless .

l love this — love the snow streaks and the footprints, and the use of white space... masterful.

And they've all got their backs turned against it - stark, cold, lovely.

Wonderful capture. The white out iamge is very effective. I'm gonna go put on another coat now.

I love the simplicity and great capture of a theme. 9.

The first thing I thought when I saw this was that you'll probably get plenty of comments about blown highlights. That'll be a shame, because it's exactly that whiteout that conveys the emotion of COLD . Wonderful capture, nice colours in the horses, and beautiful composition. If this doesn't score highly, I'll consider it one of the upsets of this challenge.

your title sums it up perfectly ... nice image

Oh my goodness, how I love this! Honestly, I would have cropped a bit more from the top, but overall, beautifully done. This is going to be a fav, and I honestly wouldn't mind having a print. I'll be looking for it to be available for purchase.
