Challenge: Best of 2007 (Advanced Editing VII*)
Camera: Canon EOS-400D Rebel XTi
Lens: Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC OS for Canon
Location: creek
Date: Jul 22, 2007
Aperture: f3.5
ISO: 800
Shutter: 4.5 seconds
Galleries: Landscape, Travel
Date Uploaded: Jan 20, 2008

This was shot with my 350D Rebel XT with my Sigma 18-200 (not OS), both which I have since sold.

This was a alternate for my July Free Study and is an area of the town I live in... alot of PP to bring out the colors, using quite a bit of shadows & highlights because in the original the foreground was very dark. Also some cloning, healing brush, and etc, etc...

Nice job of putting the viewer right in the environment. I would maybe crop the sky down some and play up the rule of thirds. Nice work.

I love the warm tones in this, you can almost feel the humidity and hear the mosquitos! I love the detail in the grass
