This shot was taken on my way to work. I drove down to the shore and stood on the rocks that were in the water, kind of candid moment. I thought the fog and the early morning sun made for a mysterious look.

To answer Shiiizzzam: Because there was limited lighting when I took the shot, the picture had almost a natural black and white look to it. I then increased the saturation on the whole image and adjusted the color balance with a little more yellow and magenta to achieve the effect you see.
The fog created a natural gradient in the sky and also in the water. The neat thing about this image is that when I was taking the shot my battery was totally dead, and I had to keep turning my camera on because it kept shutting off due to lack of battery. I was able to snag a couple shots and this was one of them. I wasn't sure if the image came out good or not until I got home to look at it on the pc. Thanks again for liking it.
This is another example of how *I* feel that the rule of thirds can add impact to a photo... the bridge support and bridge intersection here happens to be very close to a third intersection point... The composition here is excellent :)
Wow, Thank you guys for your wonderful comments! I am shocked at the response at this photograph. There was some awesome photos this round. Good work everybody!
I promise, I really gave you and 8, not a 1 like it appeared to say in my comment. But you knew that because you didn't get any 1's I bet. Congratulations on an outstanding picture.
Love the way that as you scroll down, this already great picture becomes spectacular. I loive the smoke at the end of the bridge and the "wiggle" in the reflection. An outstanding effort!
One of my 10's this week. I love this shot. The reflection is just beautiful. The fog adds a really great effect. I like how the bridge almost dissapears into the fog. The lighting is perfect for this shot, and the tones are great. Wonderful shot. Good luck in the challenge. ~hbunch7187~
the best picture yet! perfect picture amazing! 10 Mags Coyote ps I think the title could use some work but obviously I didnt use my opinion of it in my judging good job...wanna trade residences?
Very good. I like the colours, the fog, and the way that the waves make the reflection all wobbly. I also like that the reflection is not the main subject, but ads to the beauty of the bridge.
Darn. Your bridge is better than mine ;o) This is beautiful. The reflection isn't as much of a focus as in some other pics, but it is still a strong element. I love the sepia. 10 ~indigo997
Definatly my favourite photo this week. It includes a reflection, there, you've met the challenge. That was easy enough, but this image goes further. I like the colours. They remind me of a scene in a fantasy setting, along with the bridge going into the mist, its awesome. I also love the contrast between right and left! The fact I can see the land above the mist is great aswell. There photo has great composition aswell, with the bridge leading from left to right into the mist.
I couldn't give this photo anything lower than a 10! And you will see this in my favourites come next week when the voting it over.
This is at the top of my list for the week. You were definitely in the right place, at the right time for this shot... Challenge - Met. Appeal - Definitely has appeal! I think the bridge leads out in a nice location in the photograph... You can see it leaving, but wonder where it's going. Nice shot! - 10 - JB
Not an absolutely wonderful reflection here but, it is an overall high quality photo. Enjoyable the way the ROT draws the eye into the background of the picture. =7 syamjonimi
This is the lowest possible score you will receive from me. However, it amy be re-evaluated to a higher score during final review.
What an awesome photograph... I am totally amazed with this one. This is truly phenomenal work. The reflection is brilliant, but the entire image is just awe inspiring... kudos :) = 10 - setzler
