a totally unexpected ribbon with that rotten score. Nevertheless, thanks for all votes and comments. So I'm sorta even with timfythetoo...
ETA: this was my first shoot with my new Manfrotto tripod with swingable center column. Worth the money!
Same goes of course for the 5D, I had the ISO settings at 400 incidentally, but: no noise!

Oliver, congrats on the ribbon! And don't worry about getting the blue with that score. It's still blue! gotta love the noise (or lack thereof) on the 5D. I mistakenly left my 5D on ISO 800 and didn't even notice it.
Don't fret. Enjoy the blue ribbon :)
This easily made my top5 list. This is a splendidly composed shot. You arranged those flowers just perfectly, with the details of the spacing of the right most one to the crossing out of the 4 others.
Congratulations - these are beautiful blooms. The graphic title -HH- I is cryptic & fun, new strike strokes IIII I - might also have added similar page clutter, I also like ladpupmoe's number title and nicely arranged 4 + 2= 6 tulips.
Congrats Oliver. Curious, what does the letters mean?
it's just the graphic representation of the flowers (tally marks), see?
Ya I saw that. I was wondering if it was an acronym for something besides tally marks. Btw, you need an icon for getting a ribbon with a sub-6 score. By my count this makes four. ;)
Very nicely done - lovely light, and one of the rare times that color in a border works well. Congratulations on another ribbon for your collection - someone has to give Tim a run this year! :-)
This is very well done... Using the roman numeral for 6 was a stroke of genius (maybe angle the one flower down a little more). One of my favorites in this challenge. 10
