Oh boy... those votes were harsh! I don't agree that the dof was too tight at all. In fact, it's the shallowness that's so appealing. Add that to the smashing colour and it's a recipe for beauty.
Your DoF is way too tight here. I would have tried to have the entire inside in focus with a softer focus in the backgound to support the fact that this is a flower. Without your title it would be had to determine what this is. Sorry. Good Luck. 3.
