Copyrighted-Petrified Forest National Park is located E. of Holbrook, AZ.on I-40. Years ago, the Painted Desert Inn was a favorite refreshment stop for sightseeers and travelers. The photo was taken after the recent restoration. I usually take one or two overall shots of a building. After which, I begin stalking the more intimate scenes such as entryways, windows, doors and architectural features.
