The Painted Desert is located in Petrified Forest National Park E. of Holbrook, AZ on I-40. The Inn is a National Historic Landmark and has been resently restored. I like to record the details of a building. This area is an entrance. I liked the angular shapes as they decended as steps in a diagonal across the scene. Always be on the lookout for diagonals and texture.
