Copyrighted-Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument headquarters is in Mountainaire, NM.,which is located E. of Belen, NM on US 60. There are three mission units: Abo, Quarai and Quivira. The Abo unit is a short drive and perhaps the most picturesque. This scene was taken though a door and window to show the countryside beyond. Notice the fence on the grassy hillside. I take several overall building shots and then move on to the intimate details which show texture, form, shadows, angles and highlights.
