Just Anne strollin' along in Pacific Beach during the GTG.
This one I chose due to just enough motion, life and of course a smile. I had so many shots to choose from this year, and when I went through folder by folder, nearly all my favorites had to do with a smile.
It may not do well against all the DPC recipe Wow shots, but you know what? Those same landscapes have been there forever and will be there forever, but these kind of moments are but once.
How cool is this?

Good to see you coming over to the dark side. Ribbons don't give you worth (perhaps a louder voice in the forums, however ;) but only a shot the will usually be forgotten in short time. This image is very cool, somewhat telling of the woman. The warmth shows through even at her brisk pace. Nice.

I nearly broke my neck staring at this every which way & I finally decided it was A.!!! A very special capture of my good friend ,who has such a winning smile (& a heart to go with it )- thanx for sharing :)
such a pretty girl! hehehehe she must have just come from the beach...look at that grin!
of course I can't vote this one! (still not registered in CA)
regardless, I think this is a very good image...ilove the B&W, the angles, and lines, w/the capture of motion and an overall sense of happiness and "feelin' groovy"
