Challenge: Yellow IV (Basic Editing) Camera: Canon EOS-350D Rebel XT Lens: Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro Location: On a leaf Date: Jan 13, 2008 Aperture: f/7.1 ISO: 200 Shutter: 1/60 second Galleries: Animals, Macro Date Uploaded: Jan 15, 2008 Add photograph to your favorites Add photographer to your favorites	This is a Monarch Butterly caterpillar. It's not the first time I've used these guys as a subject - I just can't get enough of them it seems. I doubt this shot will match the last caterpillar shot: I used my new macro lens which made a huge difference in the shot from the last time I had one of these as a serious subject: The differnce in POV is also a large factor.

Congrats on your top 10. It would be interesting to try this with the new multiple exposure for increased DOF rule in Advanced editing.

Oh, nice job! I love how that little fellow is peering out of his shallow depth of field. Congratulations on 9th place!

I love macro photography. This brillantly colored insect is quite a find. The water droplets are an essential bonus. Well done.
