 Subject is Austin Healey crankshaft and rods. Focused on my hand up close to ensure focus would stay in foreground. Cropped, adjusted levels and curves, changed mode to index color and knocked down to 8 colors, locked black, copied and relayer to save a jpeg.

I know advanced editing is allowed but I think the photo would have been better without the special effects.

This effect is way overdone and really takes away from what could be a good photo

not sure what editing you did on this image, but on my monitor I can not make out what it is, My monior is calibrated, it looks like a crank shaft but its too dark and too grey, maybe the converting to grey scale or to B/W was done incorrectly

The use of the editing filter has rendered this image somewhat like an abstract popart image. It doesnt really hold much interest to me.

I recognize this, I hope your editing is intentional. Machine art. If you could capture it at 6500 RPM, it would be cool.
