Something about this place/image really caught my attention. I love the very dark of the windows and verandah against the very earthy color of the wall. Love the way the bricks are stacked. I like the border too actually. This is a compelling image for some reason. Makes me want to know where it is, and what it is.
Looks a little under exposed to me, and while this does add to the atmosphere and shows the textures off, it does mean a lack of detail in the shutters. Great choice of subject matter though I am not sure about the composition, it looks a little tight to me. Perhaps a close up of the door or the lower right window with the remnants of the shutter would have been an option?
Love the colour in this image though and the textures are fab. Good effort!
