From critique club.
If you think it is abstract - you need to make everyone to believe so. I just see the fan.
The photography is not an easy art (as if there is an easy one ;-) and these challenges create a perfect sandbox for the beginners to learn from the pros and to progress. Please, read the contest definitions - they are really well thought and helpful for everyone to find his/her own genre. Good luck!

far too small, don't get the connection I am afraid.

yes it is abstract...but I don't get the feeling of an off screen expectation from this

Too small, too soft, and too centered. Not sure how it relates to the challenge.

No idea what your trying to do here. Dont get the "off screen expectation" at all.

I can't see what's abstract about this, it's too small to see anything really..sorry!

Decent abstract but doesn't meet the challenge.

doesn't evoke subject, off-screen expectation

Technically impressive, but I don't agree that this fulfills the criteria of the challenge.

wish the image was a bit larger - looks like a ceiling fan?

nice abstract but I have to say that I do not see any connection to the challenge

Nothing appears to be "expected" off-screen here. Also, this image is too small to really see details.
