We found this dove in one of our hanging pot plant basket besting and hopefully sitting on eggs.
Our back verandah is quite ligh and underneath it quite sheltered from the wind and rain is a tropical garden with many hanging pots of ferns. Hipefully we can keep an ete on the bird and hopefully record the yound birds when thet hatch.

The dove is sitting on two eggs, and one hatched today. To hard to get a photo, but hopefully in a couple of days, I will be lucky to get a chance to take some photos.
Your wild pigeons are colored a little differently from the ones here, but they likely have the same personality. This reminds me of one that I kept as a pet for a while. I got it when it was just about to lose it's fuzz feathers, and it lived outdoors under the eve in a little box that I built for it from rabbit wire. It would follow me around, and land on my head or shoulder if I was out in the yard. After a couple of years, it finally flew off to mate I think.
