This isn't where I live, but if I could I would! This is behind the cabin on the river. It started raining and it got foggy. There were lots of geese and eagles back here, but I think Beans (the other dog) scared them away by the time I got there.

i'm thinking of taking a photograph i that rain .. either you were in a car, under cover or you had some protection for your camera .. that about covers the various scenarios ..!!! ..
oh .. unless you have a waterproof camera !!
and dogs .. i get that all the time .. i get the perfect shot lined up .. for me its usually a very flighty insect .. and then the dog wanders over .. aghhhhhhhhh ... lucky i dont have a problem with anger or my dogs would be DEAD !! ..:)
WOW!!! This is AWESOME!!! What beauty in the gloom! The lighting and composition is just spot on to give this a cold quiet loveliness.....what a terrific find!
