This was a vastly underated shot; I don't think that people could see through the contrast and strength that the foreground frame creates, and just appreciate the shot. I Like it though, and thats got to count for something.
Another fantastic shot similar to your image grain entry with the framing. I really should have ventured over to the east river myself for this challenge. Nice job with this and the sillouette of the lightpost helps make up for lost details of the dark metal of the framing.
Great framing, silhouettes and display of the clouds. If I can nitpick about anything, it is maybe a touch too much sky drawing my gaze away from that awesome bridgescape. A new fave.
The starkness of this is really nice with all the varying silhouettes and the hint of color in the sky. The water isn't really the focal point but the bridge and walkway and probably even the city are there because of it. I like the POV and angle you chose for this.
