I like the mood evoked by the darkness and the expression of the model, however, I think you might want to brighten it just a tad to bring in more detail. Also, it appears as if the focus is not quite as sharp as it could be.

Confused viewer. Why is he partially made up? Why isn't he wearing a shirt? What kind of clown is he, and why is he confused? He is gently lit and the angle and crop are nice, but the whole story is not here. That's OK; it doesn't harm the viewer to wonder a bit, if that's what you want us to do.
