This feels more like a general landscape shot than something for the theme silence. But it's done quite well. I like how the trees frame the lift and the mountains in the background.

I don't ski, but I don't think of ski resorts/slopes as quite places (i only see such places on the Olympics (noisy) or in movies, again noisy/active. The pic could be better if the bottom was cropped a bit more - there are colorful things onteh lower right and the top of somethign on the lower left - draws the eye away form the snow and trees

with items so low in the frame my eye is distracted and doesn't move into your shot. support post dead center gives too much weight (imho) to a non-interesting element
