Mind you, it's been so freezing cold that I have hardly been outside to shoot. Took a few photos of the cat and such, but am having fun processing photos from a few days ago.
This is obviously for roz. I shot it with you in mind, Roz. Not in my back yard, but still pretty close. These kangaroos were totally bored and completely unimpressed with the people.
One woman said to her little daughter - "look, a deer!". That in turn did not impress me, seeing how there were a billion signs talking about the emus and the kangaroos.
OMG this makes me think of a homeless person digging thru the trash. (<-did that make sense to anyone else or just me??)
I really like the editing on this.
excellent PP and the whole image rocks! great POV and the 'roo is jjust darling!! your story cracks me up! like when I lived in NYC and I'd hear a tourist tell a friend the AIG building was the Empire State! hohum.. deer, kamgaroo..so hard to tell them apart eh? :)
brilliant shot alicia ..
but poor old kangaroo in the cold and captivity ..
lol ... how funny .. doesnt look like a deer to me !!
riversong posted a pic of her yard in the snow yesterday and said that she gets deer coming into her yard .. i thought it would be much better to get deer rather than kangaroos .. kangaroos are very flighty and dont let you get anywhere near them ..
i MUST get to a zoo .. SOON ... at least the animals will stand still .. :)
