I found this feather, took it to my studio and shot it. Added not one but two layers of texture (shots of my studio walls) on top. May be too dark on some monitors? And I forgot the water drops. Next time...
First of all, I really like the image. Second, I am very inspired by the effect you got from overlaying the textured wall. Thanks for sharing your technique with us.
Btw, if you're really bored, I suggest light-painting it with a Zippo. I might be even more lacking in the sanity department, but it keeps me entertained for hours :)
Deb this is beautiful. I think it's a very fine feather and the lighting in your studio is lovely in this shot. Kinda handy you have those lovely textures in your studio as well. Seriously it is very beautiful and I'm never going to complain about having nothing to shoot again.
