In my personal opinion, you should keep away from the use of flashes to iluminate, unless you have a professional equipment to control the inevitable "burning" effect on the reflecting surfaces of your subject. I would have cropped out the unatractive looking bottle caps in the bottom, and I found no aesthetic reason for the unlevel angle of the image. The kitten is very cute anyway...

Poor little kitty looks kinda scared. I find the glare of the flash off the cupboard a litttle distracting.

It might be more effective with the bottle tops cropped out. Nice focus and tones.

If you had rotated this photo as to have that board go straight acrross I would have given you a 10. The idea is brilliant, the colors, focus, are awesome ..8 (oh, and the expression on the cat - "why the heck did you put me here for?" - is jsut perfect.

It may have been better to crop the tops of the bottles and straighten out the shot. Cute picture nonetheless.
