Chopped off subject (lamp). Not sure what's going on here or if this has anything to do with silence in the photographer's mind, but it's sure lost me! :)

i don't find this image interesting. There isn't really much for me to look at besides a lamp that has something in front of it

I'm not sure if there's something in the background I'm not seeing which would tie this in more with silence. It's hard to tell what's back there. The main subject (the lamp), just doesn't convey "silence" to me.
