Went for a walk in Old Montreal. This is a night shot of the Notre Dame Basilica. It has been in Montreal since its foundation, in 1634. Of course, it was much smaller at first, just a chapel in fact, but they kept building at the same location, always increasing the size of the church until it reached its actual size. If you ever come to Montreal, it is definitely worth a visit. the glass works are amazing.
Oh Caroline- I have always wanted to visit Notre Dame Basilica! This is Gorgeous!!! I just may have to go this afternoon and take pictures of San Fernando Cathedral here in San Antonio. That's as close to Notre Dame as I can get.
