I really like the composition and the processing. I think what makes this shot special is that the focus is not right down the center like most of my train track shots are. I like the dreary feel.
I like the strong lines and the nice framing on the side. Maybe too much white space in the sky, the would be the only minor thing I could suggest. Good work.
Great leading lines, really focus attention on the rails, have to make a cnscious effort to look at the other parts of the photo. Perhaps if you had shot this from over the other track the "grat beyond" may have been emphasised more.
Kind of has an old-film look to it. The slightly off center left to right framing works good. The sky appears overcast, not a lot of interest up there. I think cropping another 15-20% off the top would have helped the comp a little.
