this is Bill
he told me he lives days at the beach, carries all of his belongings on his bicycle. He is happy to have the beach as his hang out during the day, but goes "somewhere else" at night. His story is not unique in that there are many homeless hanging out on the boardwalk during the day and into early evening.
It was a sad conversation with this man, I have no idea how his life began but this is where he is now. He graciously let me photgraph him, although eye contact was not forthcoming.
