The frost does a great job of making a shriveled old apple look lovely, and the ice-covered buds are quite beautiful to me. I like the contrast of the shriveled apple, the apparently whole apple, and the buds showing multiple aspects of the tree's life at once.
This is fantastic. This should clearly be first page stuff. The focus is spot on. The foreground and background bokeh is simply spectacular. The frost is excellent and adds to an already spectacular shot. 10
Love the detail and colours of the apple that is in focus. I really wish the larger out of focus apple wasn't in front, it's really distracting. I think if it were just the other apple on the branch I would score this 2 points higher. I find the detail in the frost amazing.
