An ECU of a grouse's feathers. Shortly before guests were due to arrive for my housewarming party, there was a tremendous WHOOMP noise from outside my house. I checked to see what it was and found that a grouse had just cleanly broken its neck flying into a window.
So, with fresh dead grouse in hand, I did what any self-respecting DPC'er would do...ad\nd took shots of it!

Ewwww! Poor grouse! I found a dead bird in my yard one winter but I think it had simply dropped dead out of the sky - middle of the yard, no windows. Good idea to shoot (heh!) the poor thing! Has a nice flow to it, makes a nice abstract.
