This is great! So glad you posted a thumbnail in a forum thread because otherwise I would've missed it. It would be absolutely perfect for the Isolate challenge ... I definitely think it could ribbon there. The crooked leading line of the path is perfect!
Such a fantastically cute and perfectly composed photo. IMO had you decided to entitle it "My New Snowsuit" you may have ribboned! As for all the DNMC folks out there....how many of you have purchased a potato on Ebay recently?! : ) Well done.
Oh. . .this is such a great photo! I totally love it. I feel certain that if it were in another challenge where voters weren't so dnmc-conscious, this would score much, much higher. I adore the white on white with just a splash of cute color.
This is a really nice shot, but personally i dont think snow is something you can buy on eBay (i just typed in both snow and "real snow" and nothing came up) - at least not like you are portraying in the image. Sorry, i am the first to hate DNMC comments but this is pushing it. Cant give more than a 6 for this, sorry.
You did not buy snow from eBay. You just happened to have a nice pic of your child and tried to make it fit the challenge. DNMC. I will however award some points because it is an interesting photo. I like the "crooked" tracks and composition. I find that the snowsuit is a bit too over saturated though. Nice shot, but out of context.
Buying on ebay is perhaps a little far fetched, but its nice not to vote on another still life. The foot tracks in the otherwise burn out snow almost has a glow and is very well composed although could have pushed the tones a the lower end for a bit more constrast. The fence works well to break up the snow from the background and again is well composed
I'm not entirely sure how this meets the challenge...perhaps you bought the coat on e-bay? :) but it's a very nice photo. The bright splash of colors against the pure fluffy white is lovely, and the composition is splendid.
Adorable and well composed photograph. I especially like the fence - adds a nice touch to this. Can't say whether or not it really meets the challenge, but I suppose they sell everything on eBay. I'd just be wary that someone would think the kid came with the snow!
this is ADORABLE and perfectly composed but I really don't think it fits the challenge very well, sad because I love this shot. i hope it does well anyway
