 This is my first attempt at a self portrait. This photo was taking in my kitchen with only a 60 watt bulb as a light source. I was intentionally looking for shadows and was anticipating converting to b&w.

Tonal range is too flat. Shot is too gray overall.

Is the soft focus intentional? Is the high contrast intentional too?

I think this is a great SP, but a tad on the greyscale side. Although I do like your lighting. Composition is also nice.
